Gregory A. Hill, M.D.Ophthalmologist / President & Founder
Dr. Hill is a board-certified ophthalmologist in practice since 1992. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the St. Louis Ophthalmological Society.
Dr. Hill completed both his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at St. Louis University.
Dr. Hill founded Hill Vision Services in July, 2007. Before solo practice, he was a Partner at West County Ophthalmology for many years. He was also an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and the Director of Comprehensive Ophthalmology Services at St. Louis University Eye Institute. Prior to that, Dr. Hill served in the United States Air Force for four years, attaining the rank of Major and Chief of Ophthalmology at Scott Air Force Base.
Dr. Hill is committed to service as exemplified by his examination of patients and surgeries performed on those of need both at home and abroad. These services are provided free of charge through the American Academy’s Eyecare America Program and the SSM hospital system’s indigent service. In addition, Dr. Hill has been involved in mission work and cataract surgery in both Guatemala and Peru through Surgical Eye Expeditions International.
Geoffrey Hill, M.D.Ophthalmologist / Cornea Specialist
Dr. Geoffrey Hill is the eldest son of Dr. Gregory Hill. He is excited to be joining the Hill Vision Services practice in the summer of 2015.
Dr. Hill received his medical degree at Saint Louis University and completed his ophthalmology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He has also completed a fellowship in cornea and ocular surface disease at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Hill is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
During his training, Dr. Hill has worked at two of the largest county hospitals in the country in Cook County Hospital and Parkland Hospital, and he has done medical volunteer work in Guatemala and Kenya.
Timothy J. Blankenship, O.D.Optometrist
Dr. Blankenship earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2006 from the University of Missouri-St Louis College of Optometry. His training included a focus on ocular disease, contact lens fitting and LASIK co-management. Prior to joining Hill Vision Services, he practiced in a multidisciplinary ophthalmology setting in Poplar Bluff, MO. Dr. Blankenship pays special attention to providing the most comprehensive, personalized care possible. He is a certified optometrist serving both the Creve Coeur and Lake St. Louis locations.
His areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, specialty contact lens fitting, dry eye treatment and family vision care. He enjoys offering comprehensive vision services to his patients from glasses and contact lenses to LASIK and premium intraocular implants. He is a member of the St. Louis Optometric Society, Missouri Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
Vickie SchollePractice Manager
Vickie supervises and manages operations at the Creve Coeur , Lake St. Louis and Glen Carbon offices for Hill Vision Services. She is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators and the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives. She is experienced in all aspects of ophthalmic practice management.
Vickie joined Dr. Hill in opening Hill Vision Services in July, 2007. Prior to that, Vickie worked with Dr. Hill as the Surgical Coordinator at his former practice.
Vickie takes pride in leading the staff at Hill Vision Services in being patient-focused and providing patients with the highest quality ophthalmic care available.
